T.L.O.T. bio The origins of this band, formerly known as Sonic Flower, goes back to the year of 1999. The former line-up was the following: Zé Luís (vocals); P.N. (drums); Vito (guitar); Ricardo (bass); and Mané (guitar and synth). In this band’s lifetime is feature several performances in all kinds of events, such as: Festival Cais do Rock ’99; supporting act to Ratos de Porão at Hard Club in ’99; winner of the 7th Festival MMP in Castelo de Paiva; Sound System Festival, Parque Expo, Palco 6, Lisbon ’00; among others. In 2001 they released the debut demo "Tripnoziak", obtaining good feedbacks from all genres of the musical press. With this release, they started promoting through the underground scene, including live performances, interviews, events, etc. Sonic Flower performed for the last time headlining a concert at Hard Club (Porto) on May ’03. Due to professional and personal problems within the band, they decided to take some time off. Later on 2006 they gathered again to improve the legacy left over from Sonic Flower. And so they started rehearsing again, but without bass player, which had been dismissed. They decided to change the band’s name: The Last of Them was born. To improve this new change, they decided to invite some friends along the way. A new release was expected soon... New tunes were arranged and rehearsed revealing the new born sound identity for The Last of Them. Studio sessions began on the late summer of 2006. After the recording sessions, Mané informs the band of his impossibility to continue the project due to personal and health reasons... October 2007, the bass player Van Zeller leaves the band and Rui Pereira is invited, forming the new and current line-up: P.N.; Vitó; Zé Luís; Hugo Pereira; Renan Uggioni; Rui Pereira.
